Can We Be More Than Friends?

Can we be more than friends till the end....

We like each other and from time to time have crossed each other’s borders. Nothing in this world can make us bother as long as we have each other. We’re just friends.

You finish my sentences and I can predict your very next move. With me there’s absolutely no need for pretense neither are there any points to prove. We’re just friends.

I spend more time talking with you than with my partner and so do you, though unconsciously yet deliberately. All our mutual friends believe we’re an item, or at least we should be and we come up with a lot of complex theories and expectations to counter them. Can’t they just understand that we’re just friends….we say to each other.

Our individual relationships have died natural deaths as a result of negligence and absent-mindedness on our parts. We’ve tried all we could to salvage the situation and try to make them understand that we don’t understand why they can’t understand that we just tag along. They obviously got really pissed about that. There’s nobody left in this world but us. Its just us in this bus called friendship.

Are we going to remain just friends for life? Yes we can, plus more. It’s amazing how overwhelming my feelings for you have become. Now it’s not just hormones, it’s my entirety that craves you. We have always thought that all we need is some time to eventually fall I love with somebody and still maintain our friendship.

The song is playing and my mind is wandering into the corners of your mind. Just wondering… can we be more than friends till the end.

FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS

Friends are such wonderful people you'd want to keep for a lifetime. They care for you, love you and pamper you with loads of affection. They might not give their life for yours, but would do everything they can to save yours. Too many friends can be too much trouble at times because you'd have to split your loyalty equally among them all and in the process of trying not to offend any, you end up upsetting all. True Feelings

Have you ever compressed your feelings into words and expressed them to whoever​ they were meant for? My guess is YES! We all have sent romantic letters, mails and text messages to our lovers. Though some of my readers might not actually have tried sending a real hand-written letter because everything has gone electronic. Hmmm, electronic love. That sounds like a good topic to write about. So back in my undergrad days, I had two lovebirds living right under my nose. They were such a lovely couple, they got me on my toes and reminded me everytime to get myself entangled in a love nest.
