SAY A LITTLE PRAYER
Not everyone is disciplined enough to say their morning prayer and I am not excluded. Some of us check twitter first thing in the morning, some reach for the refridgerator to grab a bite and some call their heart throbs. We are not trying to condemn the first thing you do when you wake up, but you might want to consider this offer. I'd like to know the number one thig on your morning routine so kindly leave them in the comment box after enjoying this short piece.

I woke up on my bed, perspiring like I had been walking on a thread, with memories of the previous day constituting the nightmares that kept flashing through my memory like lightning; grumbling and rumbling from my deep subconscious like thunder. It had not all gone as I quite expeceted after all I had invested. The smile I woke up with didn't waste much time in contorting into a frown as I thought about what the day might be like.
Quickly, I began to flick through the pages of my mental planner to see what lay ahead and concluded that some emotional psyche or 'brainwash' would be needed for a perfect headstart. Then I remembered my creator and wasted no further time in thanking Him for sparing this dear life of mine. I offered thanks for His past and present deeds and in advance for the beautiful things He would do (like he always does). I confided in Him and asked for strength to pull me through the day with all the challenges at bay. Not minding to be an oliver twist, I asked to be a blessing to all the people around me. At the end of my bilateral talks I mouthed a deep-voiced and reassuring AMEN, and that put an end to my doubts and fear.
My day went fabulously well and by the next morning, I didn't wake up worried. That's because I had learnt to say a little prayer.
